On Nov. 09-13 of 2020, I presented my paper Perspective Matters: Design Implications for Motion Guidance in Mixed Reality on IEEE International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR) virtually at VirBELA. I met Vinu Kamalasanan there. This was the first oral presentation for a long paper during my PhD pursuit. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the conference that was scheduled to be held in Brazil had to be shifted online to be held in VirBELA. Despite the many challenges, I still think it was a great virtual participation experience. As the premier conference on virtual reality and augmented reality, IEEE ISMAR has pioneered a bold approach to large-scale VR-based conferences.
